Our small build in High Hickory is taking shape amongst the trees. This auxiliary office is like going to work in a treehouse.
Who doesn’t love ULTRA wide formatting. The aperture created by this steel frame will be filled with over 30’ of floor to ceiling glazing and captures a western view that goes on for miles.
Great care was taken to situate this building on the steep woodland site, delicately placed between the chestnut oaks and rhododendrons. The floor system sits atop a pier foundation and steel supports.
Stairs, a necessity in most houses that are too often overlooked as simply utilitarian. Great design with beautiful materials and these stairs become a feature worth admiring.
