About Jon

My name is Jon Sloop. I live in Asheville, NC and offer custom home building with a focus on sustainable building practices to the people of central and western North Carolina. I gradutated from the University of North Carolina with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematical Sciences in 2000. In 2004, after developing a background in residential construction, I organized Green Light Home Builders, LLC, and began to build not only houses, but also a knowledge base in renewable energy, green construction, and other ways to improve on conventional construction practices.
